Komodia SSL certificates and hijacking tech are widely spread
[German]Yesterday I reported the Lenovo Superfish adware 'incident' (Lenovo ships Superfish adware preinstalled on systems). Today it seems that the problem is even wide spread. Komodia SSL certificates and their SSL hijacking sdk are used in more products.

MS February patchday issues
February 2 2015 Microsoft has published several updates for Windows and other software. Unfortunately some of these patches causes damages in Windows. Here is a short overview, what I know so far.

January firmware updates for Microsoft’s Surface Pro family
During January 2015 patchday Microsoft has also provided new firmware updates for Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3. The updates addressing bugs and connectivity issues with SP3.
Google reveals third Windows 7/8.1 zero-day vulnerability
Google has revealed this month another unpatched zero-day vulnerability in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. This is the third time, Google refuses Microsoft's call for a more flexible vulnerability disclosure deadline.
