[German]Blog reader Markus K. contacted me yesterday morning by mail and described a strange observation. On his WSUS instances 45 new update notifications from WSUSE for Windows 10 20H2 to 21H2 have arrived on May 24, 2022, but they belong to updates from previous months. I'll post the observation here on the blog – maybe someone knows more.
As of May 24, 2022, the developers have released WordPress 6.0. WordPress 6.0 (Arthuro) includes more than 500 improvements and 400 bug fixes according to the release notes. I just updated one blog – so far I couldn't find any problems or bugs. A Multisite blog (this blog belongs to), on the other hand, says that another update is in progress. I have then run the update in English (instead of German), which worked.
[German]Cisco has released last week a patch for a vulnerability in its IOS XR software. The vulnerability, CVE-2022-20821 (CVSS score: 6.5), allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to connect to a Redis instance and achieve code execution. The vulnerability is already being exploited.
