Windows 11: Windows 365 Cloud PC will be integrated, new Explorer and more

Windows[German]On April 5, 2022, Microsoft outlined the future roadmap for Windows 11. Thus, the Windows 365 Cloud PC will be integrated into Windows 11, i.e. it will not only be possible to run corresponding instances (as remote sessions) via app or in the browser, but it should be possible to boot the machine directly into Windows 365 Cloud PC at some point (i.e. use it as a thin client with direct login). Also, a new file explorer with tabs will be coming (has been in Insider testing for a while).

WordPress 5.9.3 released

Firefox 99.0 and 91.8.0esr released

German BKA takes down illegal Darknet "Hydra Market"

Sicherheit (Pexels, allgemeine Nutzung)[German]Law enforcement agencies are increasingly successful in uncovering illegal activities on the darknet and also in stopping them. The German Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA) in Wiesbaden has now struck another blow against cybercriminals. Investigators were able to dismantle the "Hydra Market", which operates illegally on the Darknet, and seize the infrastructure or shut down the marketplace. This is according to a report from the BKA dated April 5, 2022.

Windows Server 2019: Update KB5011551 causes password loop

This is the preview update released on March 22, 2022, which probably not every administrator will install on their machines. It seems, that this preview update is forcing DCs in password loops. Windows 11 upgrade block due to Internet Explorer 11 issue

Windows[German]Here is a short addendum from last week. Microsoft has released an information for Windows 10 users on March 31, 2022, regarding issues upgrading to Windows 11. The issue is that Internet Explorer 11 causes problems after the upgrade if the browser is set as default. Then information saved after the upgrade cannot be accessed. The upgrade to Windows 11 was therefore blocked, till the issue has been fixed.
