Windows 10: OOBE Update KB5005716 (Oct. 4, 2021)

Windows[German]Microsoft has already released the Out of Box Experience (OOBE) update KB5005716  for Windows 10 version 2004, version 20H2 and version 21H1 on October 4, 2021. The update is installed during the Windows 10 OOBE process, as long as there is an internet connection to download it. This update is only available for Windows 10 Home and Professional (not now Enterprise) and is intended to improve the out-of-box experience (OOBE) when upgrading to Windows 11. The upgrade to Windows 11 will begin shortly after the OOBE phase is complete. (via)

Windows 11: File Explorer has a Memory Leak

Windows[German]In the just released Windows 11, there seems to be a memory leak in Explorer. The file manager grabs memory during operation and does not release it again. The bug has already been reported by Windows Insiders, but is probably not fixed in the released version. However, it looks like Microsoft will take up the problem and hopefully release a fix.
