[German]The Danish Ministry of Digital Affairs is saying goodbye to Microsoft and will move (probably to Linux and) to LibreOffice in near future – thanks to Trump. And the LibreOffice makers have set their sights on Windows 11 in order to break down the true costs of using it. There is also currently a discussion about the EU cloud and EU data centers.
[German]The June 2025 security updates have caused various problems for individual users. On Windows Server 2016, the installation takes quite a long time (long known), and some administrators have problems with DCs and Exchange. On Windows Server 2016, the June 2025 update also seems to interfere with the DHCP server. Microsoft has since confirmed that it also affects Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025.

Google Cloud has announced that it is expanding its Risk Protection Program (RPP) to over 30 EMEA markets (including DACH). The program is about cyber insurance, where two new partners Chubb (headquartered in Zurich) and Beazley have been acquired.
Microsoft has also updated the recovery updates KB5060534, KB5060532, KB5060530, and KB5060529 for Windows 10 as of June 10, 2025. The updates are required for recovering or reinstalling Windows 10 installations. But there are options to at least secure the operating system. [German]Brief addendum from June 10/11, 2025 – Microsoft fell a little short on Patchday (June 10) with its Windows 11 24H2 update KB5060842. Its installation caused problems for some users. The update was therefore withdrawn and the out-of-band update KB5063060 was pushed late in the evening on June 11, 2025.
