The driver automatically established connections to an IP address used by a server in China. Here is some information about this strange case.

[German]Following the Chrome update (to version 91.0.4472.123/.124 for Windows, see) hMicrosoft has also updated the Edge browser to version 91.0.864.59 as of June 24, 2021. The security update fixes vulnerabilities CVE-2021-34506 and CVE-2021-34475, which have already been fixed in Google Chrome. [German]Security experts from BlackBerry's Threat Research and Intelligence team, have discovered the ChaChi remote access Trojan (RAT). The Trojan, which specializes in Windows systems, was developed by the hackers of the PYSA ransomware and attacks targets worldwide. In recent months, it has targeted educational institutions. The hackers, who have been attacking targets worldwide with ChaChi since summer 2020, operate from IP addresses in Germany and Romania.

John McAfee, the founder of the eponymous security software maker, is dead. He was found dead in his jail cell in Barcelona, according to authorities, hours after a Spanish court approved his extradition to the U.S. There are indications that the 75-year-old died by suicide.
