[German]Microsoft points out in a new post that support for the Adobe Flash Player will generally be discontinued at the end of 2020. Then the Flash Player will be removed from Windows 10. Users should be able to uninstall the Flash Player from autumn 2020, the company announces.

[German]Microsoft has released the update KB4571744 for the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (Version 2004) on September 3, 2020. It is a preview update which is also valid for Windows Server Version 2004.
Legal action against arbitrary Microsoft account suspension in Europe
[German]Microsoft requires registration and use of a Microsoft account (online account) for many activities, but reserves the right to block and deactivate this account immediately. For the person affected, this means 'digital death' and possibly financial loss. This is the first time that a German affected person has filed a lawsuit against Microsoft Ireland as a contractual partner.

Cisco closes critical Jabber vulnerability on Windows
[German]Network equipment supplier Cisco has released an updated version of its video conferencing and messaging application Jabber for Windows. The update addresses four critical vulnerabilities that could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, Remote Code Execution (RCE). It is sufficient to send specially crafted chat messages, either in group chats or directly to specific users. No user interaction is required and the vulnerability can be exploited even if Cisco Jabber is running in the background.

PowerToys 0.21.1, 0.22.0-Experimental
[German]Microsoft released version 0.21.1 of PowerToys a few hours ago as a bug-fix update for Windows 10 users. These tools are free of charge and offer additional features for Windows 10.
