[German]Microsoft has just announced the end of support for the two browsers Internet Explorer 11 and the old (legacy) Edge for the year 2021. This concerns the support of IE 11 under Microsoft 365 (e.g. teams as of the end of November 2020) and the support for the old Edge browser under Windows 10 (March 2021).

[German]Administrators of Active Directory (AD) domain controllers may notice EventID 5829 warnings in the Event Viewer since August 2020 Patchday (August 11, 2020). This is intentional, Microsoft is addressing a problem with a vulnerability (CVE-2020-1472) in Netlogon connections. Admins have to react, because Microsoft is enforcing some things regarding Netlogon connections from February 2021 on.

[German]Users of a Microsoft account – needed for Microsoft services or in Windows 10 – may facing a strange behaviro. Their Microsoft account may be suspended without a warning for life time. One reason could be OneDrive content, that violates Microsoft's terms of service. A photo of the bathing children can cause your Microsoft account to be suspended – for lifetime – and you'll be digitally exist no more.
[German]Another addendum from this week as a follow-up to Patchday. Microsoft has issued a document 'Microsoft Security Update Releases' with two warnings about patched vulnerabilities. The message was required due to a revision of the CVEs.
[German]A short addendum to the patchday August 11, 2020, where Microsoft has also released an update for Microsoft Dynamics 365. This will fix the remote execution vulnerability CVE-2020-1182.
