Microsoft published its release scheme for the Microsoft Edge Browser last week. Microsoft offers four options, called channels, to manage how often Microsoft Edge is updated with new features.
As of July 24, 2020, Microsoft released the Windows 10 Insider Preview 19042.421 (20H2 development branch) for insiders on the Beta Channel (formerly the Slow Ring). [German]Currently, it looks like Microsoft is opening all the floodgates on Windows 10 and forcing machines with older operating system versions to upgrade to the current Windows 10 version. Here is some information about what has come to my attention.
[German]On July 22, 2020, Microsoft not only released the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20175. An ISO installation file was also released. In addition, there were load restrictions to install the new build on AMD systems. But this is fixed now.

The release was required for Windows insiders with PCs containing AMD processors to get this release. This is because these insiders were shown the expiration of the old Insider Preview.
