Now Microsoft has clarified once again in which environments automatic update will take place and that enterprise envionments won't get an automatic update. [German]The developers of the e-mail client Thunderbird have now released version 68.4.1. This is a maintenance (and security) update for the 68 main version of the email client.
[German]Some users are facing an upgrade error 0xA0000400 during an attempt, to upgrade a Windows 10 machine to a newer build. [German]Over Christmas, the IT infrastructure of the Albany County Airport Authority of the city of Albany, New York State, was attacked by Sodinokibi ransomware. This ransomware then encrypted the files on their servers.

Now I have received new information from an affected blog reader. Possibly the Windows Defender, which is distributed via the ISO installation media for Windows 10 version 1909, is involved in the problems.
Microsoft decided that a new name should make Microsoft's strategy for managing PCs via Config Manager and Intune clearer. As a result, there will be the new Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
