In the recording, he found a large number of UDP broadcast packets on ports 22222 and 3289. Of course, the question immediately arose as to what was causing these UDP broadcasts.

Exchange 2019 CU15 and updating server certificates

Exchange Logo[German]Two weeks ago, Microsoft released CU15 for its Exchange Server 2019. A blog reader contacted me yesterday because he came across a nice change during testing. Server certificates can now (again) be updated directly via GUI – the recourse to PowerShell required with CU14 is no longer necessary.

Multiple vulnerabilities in OpenSSH (Feb. 2025)

Firefox 115 ESR: Windows 7/8.1 Support till September 2025

Mozilla[German]Mozilla Firefox 115 ESR still runs on Windows 7 / 8.1 and has been in extended support for some time. It was previously known that the developers wanted to support this browser version until March 2025. The Mozilla developers have now confirmed that Firefox 115 ESR support for some older Windows and macOS operating systems will be guaranteed until September 2025.
