I have received information that a bug or vulnerability in Microsoft Exchange Online has led to a catastrophic failure. I was told, a tenant administrator probably unintentionally triggered the deletion of mailboxes worldwide.

Vulnerability cause of Exchange Online and MS 365 problems since March 1, 2025?

[German]Microsoft has been struggling with cloud outages in Exchange Online and Microsoft 365, including the iOS Outlook app, since March 1st, 2025. At the same time, I have just come across information about the CVE-2024-49035 vulnerability on the Microsoft Partner Portal. There are now indications that the Exchange Online issues could be related to a vulnerability. And there are suspicions that customers may have been compromised. I'll summarize some of the information that I see as pieces of the puzzle in a certain (unfortunately still incomplete) picture.

Microsoft retires the Remote Desktop app as of May 27, 2025

It has just been announced that Microsoft will discontinue the Remote Desktop app for Windows on May 27, 2025. It will be replaced by the "Windows app", which will come from the Store.

HP firmware update makes laser printer unusable (Error 11)

Stop - Pixabay[German]Next case of "HP rolls out a firmware update for printers and breaks them". The manufacturer HP has released a firmware update for printers which is intended to correct a number of errors. Shortly after the release, numerous users reported that their devices were broken and only displayed error 11. I am posting the facts here in the blog.
