As of July 16, 2018, Microsoft has released revisions to its security alerts that were released on previous patchdays. Here are a few details I know so far.
[German]Microsoft has released (till now via Microsoft Update Catalog) a revised update KB4345459 for Windows 7 and an update KB4345424 for Windows 8.1 – as well as the respective server counterparts – on July 16, 2018 to fix various bugs. .NET framework updates have also been updated.
[German]Just a brief information, maybe somebody is affected too. It seems that Microsoft's updates (especially KB4338818) not only causes network issues, but also cause problems with the Internet Information Services IIS web server.
Microsoft has just released version 8.0 of the Skype desktop client. This client will have a couple of new features, that has been described within Microsoft's blog post here. Within this post there is also an announcement, that Microsoft plans to shut down all services for the older version 7.0 of Skype desktop client, after September 1, 2018.
