Exchange Logo[German]Microsoft released security updates for Exchange Server 2016 and Exchange Server 2019 in November 2024. These should actually also be available via the Microsoft Update Catalog, but this is not the case. A blog reader asked me if I knew whether anything had been withdrawn.

Exchange Server 2019: CU15 delayed until January 2025

Exchange Logo[German]A few days ago, I read about the fear that Microsoft would release the Cumulative Update (CU) 15 for Exchange Server 2019 shortly before the holidays in order to be able to hold 2024 for the release. Microsoft has now announced that the CU15 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 will not be released until January 2025. Administrators will therefore have until after the turn of the year to focus on the CU.

Windows 11 24H2: Outlook now with GMail Workspace Syc compatible

Windows[German]Google has updated its GMail Workspace Sync so that the program is compatible with Windows 11 24H2. This means that Microsoft Outlook can be used with Google Workspace under this operating system. Windows: 0patch for 0-day URL File NTLM Hash Disclosure Vulnerability

Windows[German]ACROS Security has discovered a vulnerability in Windows that has not yet been closed by an update and allows the disclosure of NTLM hash values via URL. ACROS Security has released an opatch micropatch to fix this vulnerability. Until Microsoft provides an update, the opatch micropatch is available free of charge.

Windows 11 24H2 available on more devices; TPM 2.0 mandatory; installation on unsupported CPUs

Microsoft 365 SAS-URL import error 500 fixed

Mail[German]Since November 2024, the PST import into a Microsoft 365 tenant using a SAS URL was broken. The import process was aborted with an error 500. Microsoft seems to have fixed the problem as of December 3, 2024.
