Blu will change Software on cheap chinese phones

Last month security firm Kryptowire discovered some "telemetry" functions within Android ROMs, provided by chinese firm  Adups, shipped on cheap china phones ($50), shipped by Miami based vendor Blu. The phone was sending data to a server in China. Blu stated, that it did not want Adups to do any data collection on its phones. The ROM for the R1 HD smartphone has been updated by Blu – but Amazon has halted shipment of the R1 HD smartphone. Blu now will no longer use Adups to push OTA updates. Instead the standard Google OTA method will be used. Further details may be found at Android Police and PC Magazine.

Update for Microsoft Security Essentials (4.10.209.0) brings back context menu

Microsoft has released this night an important update for Microsoft Security Essentials. This changes MSE to version 4.10.209.0. Details, what's new or changed, are not available. The links offered in Update window points to Windows 10 advertorials. And KB article 3205972 hasn't published yet. Also Pre Release-Channel doesn't offers a clue, the version downloadable is 4.8.0203.0. [Update: It seems that Microsoft has re-added the context menu to scan files and folders.]
