Identify EWS apps and their use prior to EWS shutdown

Exchange LogoMicrosoft is retiring Exchange Web Services (EWS). This process will begin in October 2026 and end with the complete shutdown of EWS in 2027. I recently mentioned this in the German blog post Exchange Online: Zeitplan für das Ende von EWS veröffentlicht (use the translate feature of my German blog). Microsoft has now published a post on how administrators of Exchange Online tenants can identify apps that use EWS and solve the issue.

Outlook Classic: Bug hides mouse pointer (also in other MS 365 apps)

ESU also for Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSC/Server 2016

Windows[German]Regular support for Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSC, the IoT version, and Windows Server 2016 will end in October 2026 and early 2027. Microsoft has now announced Extended Security Updates (ESU) programs for these Windows versions. The Windows versions can receive three years of paid ESU.
