[German]I'm catching up on a brief piece of information that I've already had for a few days. Microsoft has already announced on October 8, 2024 that it will no longer support the two protocols PPTP and L2TP VPN in future Windows Server versions. Both protocols have been declared as deprecated.

Windows systems in Germany were probably particularly affected by the Formbook malware. The infostealer replaced CloudEye as the most active malware in this country and accounted for a full 21 percent of all infections. Are there more and more reports that the Reader under Windows hangs after being called up and then no longer responds? I have come across corresponding reports, but do not yet have a clear picture of the root cause. [German]Microsoft has released the optional cumulative (preview) update KB5044380 for Windows 11 version 22H2 and 23H2 on October 22, 2024. This is an optional update whose fixes will be generally rolled out in the following month. For Windows 11 22H2, only the Education and Enterprise versions will receive the update.
