Windows Kernel 0-day vulnerability used in the wild
[German]Cybercriminals use an exploit chain to attack a patched 0-day vulnerability in the chrome browser (Edge) and an unpatched 0-day vulnerability in the Windows kernel. The vulnerability has just been disclosed by Google Project Zero.
Update KB4577586 removes Flash in Windows 8 – 10/Server

Chromium 68 browsers (Chrome, Edge etc.) create debug.log files

Raccine: Protect volume shadow copies from ransomware
[English]Interesting story – a security researcher has developed a tool called Raccine as a simple protection against ransomware. This should prevent ransomware or other malware from deleting the volume shadow copies on Windows NTFS drives.
