[German]Another newsflash – Zabbix version 7.0.0 was released as an LTS release at the beginning of June. Zabbix is a distributed open source monitoring solution for the corporate environment. [German]A heavy blow to antivirus provider Kaspersky. The US government has banned its software in the USA and the product may no longer be sold. And updates may soon no longer be supplied either. In addition, twelve senior Kaspersky employees have been sanctioned.

[German]VMware by Broadcom has signed new OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agreements with the three major hardware vendors Dell, HPE and Lenovo. And there is an agreement with Microsoft for transferring VCF licenses to Azure VMware Solution.
[German]A short addendum to the preview update KB5036979 from April 23, 2024 (and subsequent updates). Unfortunately, a bug has "slipped" into this update, which is eating its way through the systems of Windows 10 users. As soon as one of the updates is installed, right-clicking on certain entries in the taskbar or Start menu runs amok. An Open with dialog is displayed instead of the context menu, as Microsoft has confirmed.

Ransomware has shut down their production and administration worldwide. In the USA, employees are up in arms because nobody knows anything and the manufacturer is not paying wages.
