Google deletes inactive accounts after 2 years

[German]Anyone who has a user account with Google should also use it. Otherwise its loss is imminent and there might be problems if data or email addresses etc. are connected to this account. Windows shows internal SATA hard disks/SSDs as Removable

Windows[German]It's a problem that some users experience with Windows: Internet SATA hard drives and SSD drives are shown as removable. This of course makes no sense and there have been instructions to fix this since Windows 7. The problem occurs up to Windows 11. Recently, Microsoft has now published a support post with instructions for a fix to this issue.

EU data protection authorities fine Meta 1.2 billion, data transfer to the U.S. banned

Edge 113.0.1774.50

EdgeMicrosoft has updated the Edge browser to version 113.0.1774.35 (security and bug fixes) on May 18, 2023 in the stable channel. According to the release notes, the vulnerabilities from the Chromium project are closed. According to deskmodder.de there is also the update to version 112.0.1722.84 in the Extended Stable.

Malicious firmware "Horse Shell" exposed as backdoor for TP-Link routers

This was injected as firmware on TP-Link routers by a Chinese state-sponsored APT group called "Camaro Dragon."
