Windows Server 2025: HPE ProLiant DL325 server drops IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD after July 2025 update

Windows[German]I'm going to include a post here in the blog that a blog reader described to me a few days ago. An HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10 Plus v2 running Windows Server 2025 triggers IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screens (stop code 0x0000000a) in ntoskrnl.exe as soon as the July 2025 updates (KB5062553 ff.) are installed. This does not appear to be an isolated case, as I have received two further reports from readers via the Internet. The cause could be incompatibilities with AMD processors, but nothing is known yet.

Windows 11 24H2/Server 2025: PowerShell 2.0 will be removed

WindowsMicrosoft has already published the article PowerShell 2.0 removal from Windows on August 11, 2025. Windows PowerShell 2.0, introduced with Windows 7, was already discontinued in 2017 but remained in Windows for compatibility reasons. It will now be removed from future versions of Windows.

Windows 11 24H2: Update KB5063878 as a re-release for WSUS (August 14, 2025)

Windows[German]Brief information for administrators who distribute updates via WSUS. The KB5063878 update from August 12, 2025, for Windows 11 24H2 caused installation failures (error code 0x80240069) on WSUS. Microsoft confirmed this issue in a support article on August 14, 2025, and corrected it by re-releasing the update for WSUS.

Exchange Server 2010: Folder migration to Exchange Online ends for older versions

Microsoft has definitively discontinued the feature for migrating folders from ancient Exchange Server versions prior to Exchange 2013 to Exchange Online. From October 1, 2025, data from such legacy systems will no longer be able to be migrated.
