Windows Server: January 2022 security updates are causing DC boot loop

Windows[German]I'll pull it out separately as a blog post. Administrators of Windows Domain Controllers should be careful about installing the January 2022 security updates. I have now received numerous reports that Windows servers acting as domain controllers will not boot afterwards. Lsass.exe (or wininit.exe) triggers a blue screen with the stop error 0xc0000005. It can hit all Windows Server versions that act as domain controllers, according to my estimation.

Europol must delete data collected illegal from individuals

This data collection has been done unlawfully, according to the EDPS. Europol was therefore ordered to delete the data of individuals who were never involved in any crime.

Canon ships toner without manufacturer's chips and provides usage guidance

[German]Printer manufacturer Canon currently has to deliver toner cartridges without the chips to check whether they are originals from this vendor. The reason is the current chip shortage on the market, which has now also hit this manufacturer. In order for the cartridges to work, Canon has included a manual to trick their own testing that blocks foreign cartridges.
