[German]Most of the computers currently available in companies do not meet the minimum requirements that Microsoft has made a condition for Windows 11. This is the result of initial analyses on the US market. Microsoft has now revealed a way to bypass the check for TPM 2.0 support and CPU compatibility during Windows 11 setup. However, Redmond advises against using this option.
[German]The developers of the Thunderbird email client have released Thunderbird 91.2.0 on October 7, 2021. This is a maintenance and security update for the 91 development branch, which makes minor fixes. Here is a brief overview.

[German]The complete website of the interactive live streaming service Twitch has probably become public in a data leak. An anonymous hacker posted a torrent link on the 4chan platform on Wednesday (6/10/2021). The torrent package, with a size of 125 GB, is said to contain the complete data (source code, payments to streamers, etc.) of the platform.
[German]A search for names, addresses, or phone numbers using the Google search engine can lead to Americans (and possibly others) becoming the focus of law enforcement. The U.S. government has forced Google to secretly identify any person who searched for the name, address and phone number of a sexual assault victim. Again, a reason to use a search engine that does anonymization for searches.
