Windows 7/8.1: Nvidia ends graphics driver support in October 2021

Windows[German]Graphics card manufacturer Nvidia has announced the end of Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 support with graphics card drivers on June 11, 2021. Starting October 4, 2021, Game Ready Driver upgrades, including performance improvements, new features, and bug fixes, will be available exclusively for systems running Windows 10 as the operating system. So support for Windows 7/8.1 in this regard will end. But critical security updates will be available for systems running Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 until September 2024. Support for the Kepler-GeForce GPU will also end then, as you can read here.

Windows 10: End of support for Internet Explorer 11 on June 15, 2022

[German]A small reminder for Windows users who still use Internet Explorer 11 as their browser. The desktop version under Windows 10 will be taken out of support in certain variants on June 15, 2022, and will no longer receive any updates. Microsoft will completely rely on Chromium Edge as the browser in Windows 10 in the future. Users now have one more year before the browser is displaced by Edge.
