Windows Server 2016: Mainstream support ends in 6 months

Windows[German]A breif information for in between: Are you aware that the so-called mainstream support for Windows Server 2016 will already end on Jan. 11, 2022? From this point on, this operating system will still get security updates, but no more bug fixes and improvements are planned by Microsoft. According to this document, however, Windows Server 2016 will continue to get security updates until Jan. 12, 2027, when it will drop out of support. By the way, the product was released on October 15, 2016.  I assume that the mass of installations are still with Windows Server 2016. Are any of you switching to Windows Server 2019 as of January 2022?

News from Microsoft's Cloud PC

However, a launch in spring 2021 has definitely not taken place and Microsoft has not announced anything like that yet. It is rumored that it is a service that is provided from the cloud on 'dumb clients' . Windows 10 Feature Upgrade ends with a non bootable media

Windows[German]Today another blog post from the category "Windows 10, the mysterious update experience". A blog reader recently drew my attention to a new "upgrade experience" (that's what Microsoft calls it). The Experience is described quite quickly: The unsuspecting user receives a prompt to install a feature update and then ends up with an unbootable system because no boot media was found. At the same time, the "system-reserved" partition was suddenly given a drive letter. Maybe a single case.
