[German]Microsoft has recently discontinued virtualization-based security (VBS enclaves) as a feature for older Windows versions prior to Windows 11 24H2 and Windows Server 2025. and declared it as deprecated. [German]VMWare by Broadcom released a security update for VMware Tools to version 12.5.1 at the end of March 2025 to close a vulnerability. A blog reader contacted me the other day because he was running into massive problems with the network and AD service accounts with this version of VMware Tools under VMware ESXi.

Microsoft has already confirmed a new problem with Windows Server 2025 in connection with Active Directory Domain Controllers (DC) on April 11, 2025.
