[German]In a few days Windows 7 SP1 receives security updates for the last time (at least for the broad mass of users). Then the support for this operating system will end. But in January 2020, support for a number of other Microsoft products will end.
[German]In Windows 10 November 2019 Update (Version 1909), there appears to be an issue with Group Policies, because they cannot be enabled reliably. I already mentioned this a few days ago. Now I have received new information from an affected blog reader. Possibly the Windows Defender, which is distributed via the ISO installation media for Windows 10 version 1909, is involved in the problems.
Microsoft decided that a new name should make Microsoft's strategy for managing PCs via Config Manager and Intune clearer. As a result, there will be the new Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
[German]Project Zero at Google is changing its policy on disclosure of found vulnerabilities. The main decision: Disclosures should be published within 90 days from 2020. But it's a test, running for one year.
