Mozilla Firefox 55.0.1 released

Mozilla[German]A few days ago, Mozilla's developers has released Firefox 55. My German blog post Firefox 55 mit vielen Neuerungen freigegeben received some comments, that the new Firefox version doesn't improve speed, instead the new browser was significant slower than previous builds. On August 10, 2017 Mozilla has released a maintenance update to Firefox 55.0.1. Mozilla has published some release-notes. But what they don't mentions: Within my German blog I received some comments, that Firefox 55.0.1 speed up browser start significantly. It seems that the developer has corrected another unnamed bug.

Skype for Business (V1707): Login Bug

Skype[German]Microsoft released an update for Skype for Business client on July 31, 2017 in Microsoft Office 365. Skype client is updated to version 1707 (Build 8326.2033). After this update, a login is no longer possible in non-english Skype for Business clients.
