Especially from the business sector I know of some reports. Cause can be among other things the application ClickShare from Barco – I had reported about it. [German]A few weeks ago, it was announced that Microsoft had discontinued support for the Edge browser as of January 2023 for Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and actually Windows Server 2012 / R2 (Edge version 109 is the last supported version). Now Microsoft has announced that support for the Edge browser on Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 will continue until October 10, 2023 (thanks to blog readers for the tip).

[German]Small addendum from this week about a bug on a mainboard from MSI. A bug in the BIOS/UEFI of various board models prevents Secure Boot from being used – even if the BIOS setting is set to On. The Polish student Dawid Potocki recently came across this bug. Users have to change the default BIOS/UEFI setting in order for Secure Boot to work correctly and actually meet Microsoft's requirements for Windows 11.
