[German]I'm going to bring up a topic that I'm not sure how widespread it is. I think there are reports that the June 8, 2021 KB5003637 cumulative security update is again causing printing issues. Print jobs are not getting past the printer spooler, devices (Kyocera) are unable to print. Here's some information on a bug that has been bothering Windows users for a while.
[German]Graphics card manufacturer Nvidia has announced the end of Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 support with graphics card drivers on June 11, 2021. Starting October 4, 2021, Game Ready Driver upgrades, including performance improvements, new features, and bug fixes, will be available exclusively for systems running Windows 10 as the operating system. So support for Windows 7/8.1 in this regard will end. But critical security updates will be available for systems running Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 until September 2024. Support for the Kepler-GeForce GPU will also end then, as you can read here.
[German]Microsoft probably released the preparation update KB4023057 for machines with Windows 10 again the days. The update is supposed to improve the reliability of the Windows Update service. I interpret the whole thing in such a way that once again some update problems were found on the Windows 10 systems of private users, which one wanted to eliminate.
[German]A small reminder for Windows users who still use Internet Explorer 11 as their browser. The desktop version under Windows 10 will be taken out of support in certain variants on June 15, 2022, and will no longer receive any updates. Microsoft will completely rely on Chromium Edge as the browser in Windows 10 in the future. Users now have one more year before the browser is displaced by Edge.
[German]After the Chrome update, Microsoft has also updated the Edge browser and raised it to version 91.0.864.41. The update fixes various vulnerabilities that have already been fixed in Google Chrome.

Apple has probably also improved the support for Windows Precision Touch in the latest update 6.1.15. Users on reddit.com have probably pointed this out. [German]Microsoft normally releases the quarterly cumulative updates (CUs) for Exchange Server on the third Tuesday of the month. This would be regularly on June 15, 2021. The days Microsoft informed in a tech community post that the June CUs for Exchange Server will instead be released two weeks later, on June 29. In addition to bug fixes and incorporating previous security updates (SUs) for Exchange Server, Microsoft wants to take a little more time to finish adding a new security feature to Exchange Server. [German]Windows 10 users complained of issues when trying to install or launch an Xbox Game Pass game on your Windows 10 device. Affected people were redirected to the Microsoft Store page for Gaming Services. Microsoft had released some guidance on June 10, 2021 in the form of a registry intervention to resolve the issue (see this article at Bleeping Computer). Since this overwhelms many users, Microsoft released a special update KB5004476 on June 11, 2021, which is supposed to make these fixes automatically. [German]Update KB5003169 dated May 11, 2021 for Windows 10 version 1909 has caused issues, because logging into Microsoft 365 desktop client apps such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Outlook may fail. You may see error message 80080300 or "We ran into a problem. Reconnecting…" when authenticating or logging into Teams.
[German]With the June 8, 2021 security updates for Windows 10, Microsoft also forcibly introduced the "News and Interesting Topics" feature. In the meantime, some users notice that the taskbar function is disturbed and icons in the tray area (status area) of the taskbar are missing. Is once again a bug with announcement, since the problem already occurred in the preview updates at the end of May 2021.
