Windows Server 2025: Domain Controller no longer accessible after restart

Windows[German]Small addendum to a topic that has been left here for a few days. Microsoft has already confirmed a new problem with Windows Server 2025 in connection with Active Directory Domain Controllers (DC) on April 11, 2025. After restarting the server operating system, the DC is no longer accessible. This is probably due to incorrectly assigned Windows Firewall profiles after each restart.

[German]Update KB5002700 for Microsoft Office 2016 (MSI installation) released on April 8, 2025, crashes in Excel, Outlook and Word 2016. On April 10, 2025 Microsoft has released an out-of-band update KB5002623 to fix that crashed. On April 15, 2025, Microsoft also made the KB5002623 update for Office 2016 available in the WSUS.

TLS server certificates only valid for 47 days from 2029

Browser manufacturers and Certificate Authorities (CAs) have decided to shorten the lifespan of TLS server certificates from 13 months to 47 days. Windows: Mysterious folder C:\Virus; Trend Micro involved?

Windows[German]I am posting a very unusual observation by an administrator among the blog readers here on the blog. He noticed that an ominous folder c:\virus was "suddenly" created on his clients on the system drive. The cause has not yet been proven, but there are some indications that Trend Micro is the root cause. Perhaps someone else from the readership has made such an observation.
