[German]Microsoft has begun with the rollout of the Chromium-based Edge Browser via Windows Update. Currently it only affects Windows Insider in the Release Preview Ring. The browser will be rolled out on more machines in the coming weeks.
[German]On February 25, 2020, Microsoft released a monthly preview rollup for Windows 8.1 as well as optional updates for older Windows 10 versions.
[German]After Google updated the Chrome browser with a security update (see Security Update Chrome 80.0.3987.122 (25.2.2020)), Microsoft's developers also released the Edge browser version 80.0.361.62 (based on the Chromium security update). According to ADV200002, this version fixes the two vulnerabilities CVE-2020-6407 and CVE-2020-6418.
