Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17093 for PCs in Fast Ring. The announcement has been made by Dona Sarkar in Windows Blog. [German]In Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (V1709) Microsoft introduced Windows Defender Folder Access as a protection against Ransomware. Nor a security researcher has bypassed this protection using OLE. Microsoft don't see a vulnerability an will fix it in future versions of Windows-as-a-service.
[German]Last year, hackers from Shadow Brokers made various NSA tools public. Exploits such as EternalBlue were used in Ransomware attacks such as WannaCry, NotPetya and Bad Rabbit. A security researcher has now taken a closer look at other exploits and has been able to modify them so that they can run on all versions of Windows.
The date for the developer conference Microsoft BUILD 2018 is fixed. The Build 2018 will take place in Seattle from May 7 to 9, 2018. WalkingCat posted the corresponding information including the Build 2018 logo on Twitter.
