Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17093 available

Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17093 for PCs in Fast Ring. The announcement has been made by Dona Sarkar in Windows Blog. Fire Hazard: Recall of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptops

Windows 10: Bypassing Controlled Folder Access Anti-Ransomware Protection

Nor a security researcher has bypassed this protection using OLE. Microsoft don't see a vulnerability an will fix it in future versions of Windows-as-a-service.

NSA exploits adapted for all Windows versions

[German]Last year, hackers from Shadow Brokers made various NSA tools public. Exploits such as EternalBlue were used in Ransomware attacks such as WannaCry, NotPetya and Bad Rabbit. A security researcher has now taken a closer look at other exploits and has been able to modify them so that they can run on all versions of Windows.

Microsoft BUILD 2018

The date for the developer conference Microsoft BUILD 2018 is fixed. The Build 2018 will take place in Seattle from May 7 to 9, 2018. WalkingCat posted the corresponding information including the Build 2018 logo on Twitter.

It should be noted that there is an overlap with Google I/O 2018 (see Google I/O May 8th to 10th 2018).
