I have come across reports – mainly from English-speaking administrators – where the installation of the update KB5032198 fails with the error 0x8007000d (or 0x800f081f). The error does not seem to be that widespread, but I have found several people affected.
[German]I'm posting a reader observation about the new Microsoft Teams 2.0 client here on the blog to find out whether the problem is more widespread or an isolated case. It's about the new Teams 2.0 client, which probably still has bugs and, for example, incorrectly distributes the presence status to contacts. A reader pointed this problem out to me the other day.
[German]The new Microsoft Teams 2.0 client has been available since September 2023 and is probably being tested and partially rolled out in companies. The switch will be mandatory from April 2024 (New Microsoft Teams 2.0 client mandatory from April 1, 2024). In the last few days, I have come across a few issues and questions that I would like to address in a collective article. These range from the fact that the Outlook add-in is missing during installation to crashes of the new client.

[German]For months, users of the Microsoft Office 365 suite have been suffering from the fact that they suddenly receive error 1001 when trying to log in. I had already addressed the issue here in the blog. After Microsoft confirmed the issue and published a temporary workaround, a (partial) fix is now probably available. [German]I'm posting a topic here on the blog that a reader brought to my attention by email recently. Another reader has confirmed that behavior. The reader is an administrator in a corporate environment and is currently testing the new Microsoft Teams 2.0 client with around 20 users. He has noticed that the standard Microsoft backgrounds cannot be used in Teams 2.0. Custom backgrounds, on the other hand, can be used. Has anyone else noticed this?

In the past, there was a case where users may not have been able to use their Microsoft Teams accounts on all Android devices certified for Microsoft Teams. Microsoft has declared this problem, which has existed since mid-June 2023, to be resolved as of November 6, 2023.
