[German]Update KB5003169 dated May 11, 2021 for Windows 10 version 1909 probably causes collateral damage. After installation, logging into Microsoft 365 desktop client apps such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Outlook may fail. You may see error message 80080300 or "We ran into a problem. Reconnecting…" when authenticating or logging into Teams. [German]Since yesterday, May 20, 2021, users of the Chrome browser on Windows 10 have been suffering from sudden crashes worldwide. The funny thing is that Google released Chrome 90.0.4430.212 back on May 10. Until yesterday, there were no major reported issues with this version of the browser. But now something has happened to the browser, causing crashes to pile up. Update: Google has released a fix.
[German]Microsoft has released the update to Edge 90.0.818.66 on May 20, 2021. According to the release notes, the update fixes various bugs and performance issues vulnerabilities. The browser should update itself automatically.

[German]Brief information for administrators who use a WSUS 3.0 Service Pack 2 to manage updates in corporate environments. This package can no longer be used to distribute updates after October 31, 2021, because synchronization will fail after that date.
[German]After recently removing the last upgrade blockers (see the blog post Windows 10 V2004/20H2: All upgrade blocks removed (May 2021)), Microsoft is now releasing the brakes regarding the distribution of this feature update. The operating system upgrade is now to be offered to all users.
[German]A brief information for Windows users who still use Internet Explorer 11 as their browser. The desktop version under Windows 10 will be taken out of support in certain variants on June 15, 2022, and will no longer receive any updates. [German]Another small security note for administrators of Windows systems who have not yet installed the May 2021 security updates or had to uninstall them due to problems. The May 11, 2021 updates closed the http-sys vulnerability CVE-2021-31166. Since the weekend, an exploit to exploit the vulnerability is now available. This one triggers a BlueScreen on the Windows target machine. I assume that there could be remote attacks on the vulnerability soon.
[German]Rumors have the charm that if they are true, the "see, I told you so" effect can be used. So folks, I confess, I was true and I told you so. Because Microsoft has confirmed my statements in a blog post from a week ago: Windows 10X is no longer coming, they're pivoting – it's being cloaked, but the thing is dead. Instead, Windows 10 is supposed to benefit.
