Windows 10 1809/1909: Preview Updates (March 25, 2021)

[German]Microsoft has released updates for Windows 10 version 1809 and 1909 as of March 26, 2021. These are updates that are supposed to fix bugs. For Windows 10 version 1909, the update is supposed to remove the Legacy Edge from the Windows 10 installation. As it seems, these preview updates do not correct anything more about the printing issues that occurred in March 2021, but were corrected by special updates..

Tor Browser 10.0.14

PowerShell Script to uninstall Windows Updates, to fix March 2021 Printing issues

Windows Update[German]Windows March 2021 updates has caused a mess with printing issues (blue screens, graphic printing issues etc.). German blog reader Andy has written a PowerShell script to uninstall the problematic March 2021 updates in Windows 10 that are causing the printing issues reported here on the blog. 0patch fixes CVE-2021-26877 in the DNS server of Windows Server 2008 R2

[German]ACROS Security has released a micropatch for the CVE-2021-26877 vulnerability in the Windows Server 2008 R2 DNS server. This vulnerability was patched by Microsoft in March 2021 via a security update. The 0patch solution is for people who do not have an ESU license.

Windows 10: Is Edge coming as new spyware?

[German]Let's  hope that the plans will quickly disappear into the drawer. In the latest Canary builds of the Edge browser, there is an option to share the history of visited websites in Edge with "other Windows features". True, reasons could be found as to why this is needed. But this feature would be the perfect way to monitor where you've been surfing.
