[German]The developers of the e-mail client Thunderbird have released version 68.6.0 on 12.3.2020. This is a maintenance update (no security fixes) for the 68 main version of the email client.

WordPress-Plugin Import Export WordPress Users vulnerable
The WordPress plugin 'Import Export WordPress Users' is used on over 30,000 websites, but contains a vulnerability in older versions. The vulnerability, discovered on February 26, allowed anyone with access at subscriber level or higher to import new users via a CSV file, including users at administrative level. EU initiative 'Waste reduction and the right to repair
[German]The EU Commission wants to take action against the waste and also electronic devices waste, i.e. appliances that are left without updates shortly after market launch, or devices which are broken just after end of warranty and then be thrown away. Sustainability for smartphones and notebooks as well as the reduction of waste in general, including the 'right to repair' of things is on the agenda and should become law.
