[German]Mozilla's developers have released the version 78.0.2 of the Firefox browser, as well as the 78.0.2 esr, as of July 9, 2020, which are maintenance updates that fix both vulnerabilities and bugs.

‘Firefox Send’ offline after abused by Malware

[German]Mozilla's developers have implemented the Firefox Send service for encrypted file transfer in a browser. After the service was abused for spreading malware via short links, the service is taken temporarily offline.

Microsoft pauses new Edge builds in Dev, Beta & Stable channel

[German]Mozilla's developers have released version 78.0.0, also in the esr variant, of the Firefox browser as of June 30, 2020. This is a new main version of the browser with long-term support (esr). In addition there is the Firefox 68.10.0esr.
