Follina: Attack via Word documents and ms-msdt protocol (CVE-2022-30190)

Windows 10 21H2: Explorer and taskbar issues due to "HP Development Company, L.P. – Extension – 8.10.5.34686"

Windows[German]Brief  info in the round of the owners of HP Windows PCs to a problem and immediately the question whether someone is affected. On these computers there are problems since a short time, the taskbar freezes under Windows, the Explorer crashes with errors or the whole Windows PC does not react anymore. It looks like the driver "HP Development Company, L.P. – Extension" is causing the problem.

Microsoft finds vulnerabilities in apps from major mobile providers (May 2022)

[German]The Microsoft 365 Defender Research Team has found some vulnerabilities in a mobile framework from mce Systems. The problem: This framework is used by some apps that mobile providers deliver preinstalled on their smartphones. Thus, millions of users were vulnerable via these apps. Even though Microsoft only investigated US mobile providers and they have updated the apps in the meantime, the incident once again shows how shaky the entire app model basically is due to the use of various frameworks.
