On June 21, 2019, the developers upgraded the Tor bundle to version 8.5.3. The Firefox browser was updated to correct bug 1560192 (Sandbox Escape). The update is only available for desktop systems. In the release notes, Tor developers indicate how to mitigate this bug under Android in the Tor app.
