Pixel 6/6 Pro: Google has stopped the rollout of December 2021 Update

Google has stopped the rollout of the December 2021 Android security update for its Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. The reason: After the update was released, some users reported that calls were interrupted or the connection dropped. Google claims to have found a solution, which will be released with a software update at the end of January. This update will also include all the fixes and improvements that were originally planned for December. Those who have already received the December software update on the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro and still experience mobile connectivity issues can revert to the previous software version via Android Flash Tool, according to this info.

Windows Defender: Fixes, Issues and Log4j scanner false alarms

For Windows Server 2019, a problem with Defender has probably been fixed with the December 2021 updates. On the other hand, a Defender problem in Windows 8.1/Server 2012 R2 has been going on for months without being fixed. And to make matters worse, Microsoft has rolled out a Microsoft 365 Defender Log4j scanner that triggers an alert in Defender from the OpenHandleCollector.exe process.

Sophos fails with timely malware sample analysis, support contact options miserable

Users report compromised LastPass master password

Sophos: Thread actors test CAB-less 40444 (MSHTL vulnerability) attacks in Windows

Log4j security messages (12/28/2021)
