AgeLocker Ransomware attacks QNAP NAS drives

[German]A brief warning for users who have QNAP NAS drives in use. The AgeLocker ransomware seems to target such drives that are accessible via the Internet and encrypts their contents. In some cases, files are also taken off for further blackmailing. The problem is, however, that little is known about which versions of the NAS operating system QTS are vulnerable.

Thunderbird 78.3.1 released

[German]The developers of the e-mail client Thunderbird released version 78.3.1 of the e-mail client on September 25, 2020. This is a maintenance update for the 78 main version of the e-mail client, which contains a fix for crashes. There is also a warning from the BSI for citizens for Thunderbird versions below 78.3 – but I don't really think that this is a full-blown warning.
